A statue for
Terence Hill
& Bud Spencer
A dream that belongs to millions of people.

Some stories do not stay on the screen:
they become part of our lives.

They accompany us as children, make us smile as adults and still move us decades later.
Bud and Terence have been companions in adventure, symbols of friendship, freedom and light-heartedness.
They made entire generations laugh, crossing borders, languages and cultures.
And they still do so today.

What if the time had come to say thank you?

Not with a memory destined to fade away

Not just a dedication, not a social media post. Something that can travel through time. Something that, one hundred years from now, will tell future generations how loved they were. Something no one has ever created before.

A unique project in the world is born

Two firsts, one legend

Camposecco Far West APS will create the first statue in the world dedicated to Bud Spencer and Terence Hill together, and at the same time the first and only bronze statue dedicated to Terence Hill. A life-size work that will not be only a monument, but a meeting place: a landmark for fans from all over the world where they can stop, smile and tell their children about the achievements of these two men.

An authorized and supported project

The initiative was born with the support and authorization of the Pedersoli family and of Terence Hill. A way to turn fans’ affection into something concrete, lasting and worthy of their legacy.

This is not the statue of Camposecco Far West.
It is the fans’ statue.

Of those who laughed watching Bud’s slaps.
Of those who dreamed of riding with Trinity.
Of those who, hearing an Oliver Onions soundtrack, immediately become children again. It can exist only thanks to the people who loved them.

Imagine that day

A promenade overlooking the sea. Hundreds of people arriving from all over Italy, Europe and the world. Families, children, grandparents: generations united by the same passion.

In front of them, a large red cloth. The wait. The silence.

Then the cloth slowly falls. And finally, there they are.

Together again

No longer only in the films, but before everyone’s eyes.
In their homeland.

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill Forever
The project

Two statues, one legend

Camposecco Far West APS promotes the creation of two bronze statues dedicated to Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, the most beloved stars of Italian popular cinema. The statues will be permanently displayed in Porto Santo Stefano (Municipality of Monte Argentario), in one of the most evocative locations on the Tuscan coast.

A public work of art, open to everyone, that will pay tribute to two icons of Italian culture and attract visitors, fans and film lovers from all over the world.

Why Porto Santo Stefano

Porto Santo Stefano was not chosen by chance.
And not only because people inextricably linked to the world of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill have lived here or spent part of their lives here, such as the Pedersoli, Barboni, Alabiso and Luotto families, and many others.

There is a story that few people know.

It was precisely between Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole that the scripts for the two Trinity films were translated, adapted and refined. Eugene Luotto, an important voice actor and dialogue adapter for the American market, spent his summers here. And while he was working on the lines that would help take Bud and Terence overseas, he would send his son Andy on his Ape 50 to Porto Ercole so Enzo Barboni could read and check the dialogue.
A curiosity that shows how Argentario was, quietly but concretely, part of the story of the most beloved duo in Italian cinema.

But it does not end here.

Between Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole and Orbetello, around dinner tables and during long meals among friends, Enzo Barboni, his son Marco Tullio Barboni and Salvatore Alabiso discussed ideas, screenplays and productions that would later become part of the legend of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Among them, also I due superpiedi quasi piatti.

This is also why we imagined the home of the future statues right here.

In a unique setting, between the sea of Argentario, the outline of the harbor and the palm trees that recall the Miami atmosphere so beloved in the duo’s films, the statues would not be just a monument. They would be the homecoming of a story that, in part, was born right here.

And perhaps it is no coincidence that, from the very first moment, Mayor Arturo Cerulli and the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Chiara Orsini, welcomed this project with conviction and enthusiasm, immediately understanding its cultural, touristic and human value. An initiative capable of uniting memory, territory and passion, transforming the affection of millions of people into a concrete legacy destined to endure over time.

Because some legends belong to the whole world.

But some have left their footprints right here in Argentario. And perhaps it is here that they deserve to be remembered forever
